Foundation Supporters Enjoy

 

An Evening At Hoja Nueva

 

Hoja Nueva, the new upscale restaurant at the Westin Colonnade put on quite a show for Coral Gables Community Foundation’s

 

recent fine wine dining experience on May 12th.  Executive Chef Alain Dumas prepared a fabulous menu with Justin Molis,

 

of  Southern Wines,  selecting a wine to complement each of the five courses.  The event began with a champagne

 

reception sponsored by Foundation board member, Dottie Corbett.  To add to the festivities, Foundation Secretary, John Adams,

 

with guitar in hand, entertained the crowd with his repertoire of songs during the reception and

 

following dinner. A well respected attorney by day, Adams is equally skilled as an entertainer and the crowd loved him. 

 

The dinner was held in a private room at Hoja Nueva that was a perfect setting for a group of 30 – 40 people with a nice view,

 

comfortable seating and luxurious ambience.  In fact, the entertainment was so good and the seating so comfortable

 

that no one wanted to leave.  Among the many people enjoying the evening were CGCF Vice Chairman, Jerry Santeiro;
