Some of the proceeds from the Coral Gables Community Foundation’s 2014 Tour of Kitchens went to the Culinary Arts Fund, which is dedicated to the Culinary Arts Program at Coral Gables Senior High School. The School’s aspiring chefs took over the kitchen at The Dome restaurant on March 10, 2014 and prepared a delicious dinner for guests at their annual gala. Culinary Arts Program Director Mercy Vera, Foundation Executive Director Mary Snow and Chairman Carlos F. Garcia presented a check for $10,000 to the Culinary Arts Program Fund.

Save that date and join us for another great Tour as we showcase six to eight of Coral Gables’ finest private home kitchens, plus an opening location (SNAIDERO kitchens + design), and closing location (Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery). New this year, we are looking into appliance demonstrations, more table settings, a lecture/presentation in a Kitchen Showroom, and a featured kitchen renovation.

The homes will offer restaurant tastings or artisan food samples, table setting displays, and the sale of kitchen-related merchandise.  The Tour is a fund raising event for the Coral Gables Community Foundation and the Culinary Arts Program at Coral Gables Senior High.
